Lakeshore Records recently caught up with Brian Liesegang, co-founder of the band Filter and former member of Nine Inch Nails. Brian collaborated with Geno Lenardo (also from Filter) on the Wednesday (Original Comic Book Soundtrack), and you can hear song previews below. Lakeshore Records will release two soundtrack albums for John Bergin’s Wednesday comic book. The album set includes a complete score for the comic book and a collection of songs inspired by the story. Both albums are composed by Daniel Davies (Year Long Disaster) and Geno Lenardo (Filter, Device) with many guest vocalists and performers, including Mlny Parsonz (Royal Thunder), Brian Liesegang (Filter, NIN), Will Hunt (Evanescence), Aly Jados, Nina Bergman, KYBD and John Bergin (Trust Obey, C17H19NO3). This summer, Nine Inch Nails embarks on a North American tour with Soundgarden (also celebrating their own 20th anniversary). Danny Lohner (also goes by Renholder), was brought into NIN by Reznor in 1994 and is credited as songwriteron several Downward Spiral songs. His credits appear regularly on albums throughout the band’s history. Lohner is credited as Producer for Underworld and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans soundtracks. He is currently in Puscifer with Maynard James Keenan from Tool.
