Watch The Music Video for ‘Love Peas (feat Hama)’ From College’s Forthcoming Shanghai Album (Destroy/Exist), Single Out on April 14

"Love Peas (feat Hama)" by College, from the forthcoming "Shanghai" album, out on Invada Records; Lakeshore Records is the North American release partner.

Debuting on Destroy/Exist is the cinematic music video for “Love Peas (feat Hama)”, the debut single from the forthcoming SHANGHAI album by College (David Grellier).  The song is sung by Shanghai native, Hama (蛤小蟆).  Drive fans will recall College’s song placement on the iconic Nicolas Winding Refn film.  College’s throbbing synth track, “A Real Hero (feat. Electric Youth)” is a perennial fan favorite on the influential and culturally-significant Drive (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) released by Lakeshore Records.

Lakeshore is the North American album release partner of Invada Records for College’s Shanghai album.  “Love Peas (feat Hama)” will be released on Friday, April 14, with SHANGHAI out on April 28, worldwide.

The video is directed by Charles Lanceplaine, who previously collaborated with College on the Héritage album.   Watch the full video now at Destroy/Exist.

We previously announced the song premiere for “Love Peas (feat Hama)”, a track off the forthcoming Shanghai album by College (the band alias of David Griller).  Now, Fubiz has the exclusive premiere for the beautifully shot music video (watch here) helmed by Charles Lanceplaine, a prior collaborator who worked on College’s Heritage album.

Vehlinggo Interviews Lakeshore Art Director John Bergin: The Man Behind the Things You Love

The milestone comes after a long career that has seen Bergin draw for the pages of Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, and Heavy Metal. He’s released respected albums with his various bands, including Trust Obey. He’s designed vinyl album packages for the likes of the recent Drive fifth anniversary special edition vinyl and Mr. Robot, among hundreds more.

 

Vehlinggo recently interviewed Lakeshore Records Art Director John Bergin, who, besides being responsible for the album art on the most important soundtracks in recent history, this multi-disciplinary artist with a storied history in music just released his new EP, Crash & Burn.  Read the full interview at Vehlinggo.
