Slasher Film Festival Strategy: Crimson Cavern | Lakeshore Records

Lakeshore Records is thrilled to announce the digital release of Slasher Film Festival Strategy’s Crimson Cavern, composed by Christopher Ashley, the follow-up to the breakthrough album Crimson Throne.  The album will be released this coming Friday (May 5) through all major digital platforms.  More information coming soon!

This EP is a collection of unused/unreleased until now tracks from the Crimson Throne sessions and is part II of the Crimson Throne trilogy that includes Crimson Throne, Crimson Cavern and Lunar Temple.  Recording began in 2012, but material was reworked and tweaked through 2016.

Space Shuttle Ambition was NASA’s fourth operational spacecraft launching on February 3, 1987 – the first manned space flight to Mars. Dubbed Operation Crimson Throne, the goal of the mission was to terraform Mars for potential colonization of future human inhabitants. A crew of seven successfully landed on the red planet on September 6, 1987 and all contact was lost a mere 18 days later. This is their story.

Say something nice.
