Jack Black And James Marsden High School Reunion Comedy Gets The ’80s-Inspired Synth Score Treatment


The multi-instrumentalist and composer is on a roll now with three movie scores under his belt, including The D Train, which opens in theaters May 8.

“Scoring films has always been kind of my goal,” says Dost, whose recent projects also include the HBO documentary It’s Me, Hilary, about author-illustrator Hilary Knight, and the unreleased independent film Me Him Her.  Read the interview at Billboard.

Lakeshore Records will release The D Train (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) — available digitally on May 5.  The soundtrack features score by Andrew Dost (fun.), the end titles song, “A Million Stars” and ’80s hits by various artists.  Pre-order the album now to receive it as soon as it’s released.  See below for details.  The D Train opens in theaters on May 8 (check show times).
